18 Caribbean versions of Pharrell Williams’ HAPPY

Pharrell Williams’ HAPPY song released last November from the Despicable Me 2 soundtrack album is still going strong. No surprise as the infectious feelgood anthem has sold nearly 8 million copies and peaked at number one in over 25 countries including Canada, the United Kingdom and United States. Plus, according to the We Are Happy From website, there are now 1950 music video versions of the song from 153 different countries. Most are of people lip-syncing and dancing. Listed below are 18 versions from the Caribbean. Some were created by tourism boards as the song provides a wonderful opportunity to showcase the best of each island. Others were created by corporates looking to capitalise on the popularity of the song. So which one is best? Well each has its own charm and so we’ll leave it up to you to decide. All display happiness around the Caribbean.
