The 21st annual Saint Kitts Music Festival which is a favorite of international visitors and locals alike will take place on from Thursday, June 22 through Saturday, June 24, 2017 at the Warner Park Stadium, Basseterre, Saint Kitts. The first wave of musical guests signed to headline include chart-topping dancehall artistes Jah Cure, Mavado, Shabba Ranks, and renowned American Rock band Goo Goo Dolls. The full line-up will released by the end of February.
As one of the premiere music festivals in the Caribbean, if not the world, the Saint Kitts Music Festival typically features a broad range of musical styles including rhythm and blues, jazz, hip-hop, reggae, soca, calypso, gospel and contemporary music. Past artists have included such prominent acts as John Legend, Lionel Richie, Jason Derulo, Trey Songz, T-Pain, Michael Bolton, R. City, K.C. and the Sunshine Band, UB40’s Ali Campbell, Wyclef Jean, Ne-Yo, Air Supply, Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds, Shaggy, Kelly Rowland, Tarrus Riley, Tessanne Chin, Toni Braxton, Beenie Man, The Commodores, Dionne Warwick, Billy Ocean, Sean Paul, Boyz II Men, King Konris, Stephen Marley, Regina Belle, Maxi Priest, Beres Hammond, Roberta Flack, Biggie Irie, and Lord Nelson.
Visitors attending this year’s Saint Kitts Music Festival not only get to enjoy a fantastic mix of dancehall and rock-n-roll performances but will also have to explore the beautiful island of Saint Kitts known for its intoxicating natural beauty, sunny skies, warm waters, and sandy beaches.
